Establish a high quality coffee shop that serves high quality coffees and teas and simple pastries. Foster an energetic work environment based in positivity and support.
Vision
A place with mismatched couches/loveseats, tables and chairs. with mismatched mugs, plates and silverware, mismatched lamps, wall decor and rugs, with books and board games (checkers/chess/cards); like a coffee shop living room.
When customers walk in the door they walk up to the counter where they can view the menu, place their order and view the bakery/pastry case. They can then pick up their order at the pickup counter. Customers can choose to be seated at one of the seating locations outlined above. We would like to offer basic pastries like scones, muffins and things like carrot cakes. Ideally locally sourced.
Goals and Objectives
Our primary goal is to provide great tasting Espresso, Coffees and Teas in a comfortable, warm and welcoming environment at an affordable price. To provide an environment that invites customers to want to return every day and want to stay and visit with friends and family and if possible, work remotely.
We would like to establish ourselves as business contributors to the community and help revitalize Downtown Scottsboro, Alabama by helping to bring in more visitor traffic to the town square so that as many people as possible can experience a throw-back to simpler times. It is our hope that this will encourage growth and interest in bringing back more businesses as well refurbishing buildings around us. We are grateful to be a part of Main Street Alabama and everything it stands for.
